Enhancing Farmers Access to Agricultural Machinery

Prior Leasing OJSC, one of the leading leasing company in the country, opened a new branch in Barda on March 12, 2020. The branch gives the opportunity to entrepreneurs and farmers benefit from favorable leasing terms without going to Baku.

In the branch besides receiving and processing applications, agricultural machines from various well-known brands have been exhibited, and thus, customers can get agricultural machinery from over 100 brands within 2-3 business days on the spot.

The opening ceremony was attended by representatives of agricultural departments of Barda and surrounding areas, suppliers of agricultural machinery, farmers and other guests. During the event, they were informed about various agricultural machinery and the benefits of leasing and renewed subsidy terms.

Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on government assistance for agriculture and enhancement of leasing activities dated 19 December 2018 created new opportunities for private leasing companies and equipment suppliers. A company representative said that benefit from these opportunities, we have leased machinery, equipment and facilities to hundreds of farmers over the past year. All these farmers and entrepreneurs have benefited from the subsidies of the Agrarian Credit and Development Agency within the new rules. Our goal is to support farmers, to provide them with a wide range of equipment without leaving their farms, and to complete all the paperwork on the spot. For this purpose, we plan to open 8 branches in the regions by the end of this year.

It is worth to mention that Prior Leasing OJSC was established in 2014 by individuals who are citizens of Azerbaijan. Prior Leasing, which currently leases agricultural machinery, irrigation systems, refrigerated warehouse, processing equipment, cattle and flock, construction equipment and cars offers favorable leasing terms to individual customers and entrepreneurs.
